This Memorial Day, try to take time out of your picnics and family festivities and give thanks to those who gave their life and limbs to keep us safe. Also give thanks to those who were fortunate to come home to their families. I know that I am thankful everyday...my fiance is a veteran and I thank him every day for his service to his Country. When I first met my Penguin, he was in the Air Force. Once together I have stood by him in the Army Reserves and then the National Guard, and even had to endure rumors of deployment. While I am thankful that he did not have to go, I would still be standing by his side when he left and then returned again.
